Despite this active professional career, Kevin is committed to keeping a pulse on numerous organizations and upholding his several bar admissions, ranging from the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the State Bar of Michigan, and the United States Supreme Court. Memberships to the Order of the Coif, the Phi Delta Phi fraternity, as well as the Appellate Practice, Family Law, and Criminal Law areas of the State Bar of Michigan, add depth to Kevin’s professional activities. Kevin also strives to actively participate in the maintenance and discussion of the law with extensive appearances in the Detroit Free Press, the Detroit News, the Livingston County Press & Argus, and Michigan Lawyers Weekly, as well as features in Time Magazine and NBC’s Today Show. In 2001, Kevin’s amicus curiae brief to the Michigan Supreme Court during the People v Sabin case also earned the Distinguished Brief Award by the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review.
